Combining my skills as a licensed Acupuncturist, certified Massage therapist, and Herbalist, I have developed a unique practice that integrates traditional, alternative, and modern healing practices. My patients seek me out for the treatment of painful musculoskeletal conditions where I combine the treatment modalities of Acupuncture, soft tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, herbs, and Qi Gong. Many patients come to me when they find that standard medical practice, while effective in what it has to offer, does not offer a complete treatment for their condition.

The emphasis in my practice is the use of treatment modalities that promote self-healing and treat the root causes of conditions. These treatments can work in conjunction with the best medical treatments available by standard Western medical practitioners to improve the effectiveness of medications and other procedures.

feb_00graph.jpg (28032 bytes)     Traditional Chinese Medicine is a holistic health care modality. It takes into consideration the entire state of the person including their physical body, their emotions, and sprit. These have always been considerations in the strength of our healing responses.

I am inclusive of other forms of healing and refer patients to medical doctors, chiropractors, and any other practitioners that may have beneficial treatments for my patient’s conditions.

Healthy living through prevention is the best form of medicine in the TCM tradition. One of the proverbs of TCM essentially says, "The easiest time to treat a condition is before it begins".

After receiving my degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco in 2000 and passing the California Acupuncture Board Licensing exam, I wanted to bring this TCM philosophy to those in need. This prompted me to start my Silicon Valley Acupuncture practice.

I studied under the tutelage of a Japanese master Acupuncturist while at school. The whole-life healthcare philosophy is at the core of the 500-year lineage of my master. I have also taken hundreds of hours of advanced education in modern Acupuncture treatment techniques, trigger point, muscle therapy, herbology, diet, meditation, and Qi Gong energy healing.
